Nice to meet you

ABOUT ME

My initial interest in geriatric psychiatry started in 2002 in Newcastle Upon Tyne, U.K, while I was doing a clinical research position in psychopharmacology.

Since that time, I have been trying to learn as much as I can from my patients, their loved ones, and their carers in an effort to improve their quality of life. After spending a fulfilling 12 years (2010-2022) at the Geriatric Mental Health Program of London Health Sciences Centre as a Consultant Geriatric Psychiatrist, I have, since the Fall of 2022, maintained a fairly busy community based practice.

It would be my honor to work with you. Please contact me via your family doctor and I will endeavor to see you at your place of residence or virtually

TESTIMONIALS

My dear friend. I can not thank you enough for your book, "Be YourSelf". I have finished it already and I must tell you I got so much from it. I am very interested to learn more about meditation and proper yoga and breathing techniques. Again, my friend thank you so much.

A thank you for seeing me in such an unorthodox manner (no appointment) the other day. As you suggested, the change in medications has already led to quiet a change for the better. Has any of your patients ever called you their "touchstone"? Your calm and reassuring demeanour and your ability to read my symptoms and empathize are rare. I feel really very safe under your care. Thank you again.

Where do I begin my sincere appreciation for walking beside me these past 8 years? From the moment you expressed confidence in my ability to become a member of our team to today when you have been an amazingly supportive friend, leader and colleague. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the exceptional care you provide for patients and their families, for your research studies, and for your teaching and mentoring. You bless our world with your presence.
