Pharmacotherapy
Using evidence based guidelines, I strive to provide the best medications for late life mental disorders such as anxiety, depression and dementia
Team-based interventions
Using the framework of Behaviour Supports Ontario (BSO), I endeavour to provide the best possible care for patients with severe dementia independent of their residential setting
Psychotherapy
I use a supportive psychotherapy framwork for all my patients which is individualised to the patient's cultural and social background. If so interested, we can grow together using a spiritual focussed therapy
Individualised assessment and therapy
All assessments and therapy are inclusive of information received from the patient, their loved ones and carers
Point of care assessment and intervention
I offer in-location assessments (patient homes, retirement homes and nursing homes). If one prefers an office based consult as well follow ups, these are available at Medpoint, Suite 280, 1295 Riverbend Road, London, ON
Team-based approach
After retiring from an excellent multi-disciplinary team at the Geriatric Mental Health Program, London Health Sciences Centre in July 2022, I continue to provide a team-based approach wherever the patient resides.
